DEVELOPED BY VSGAI · BACKED BY VETERANS SECURITY GROUP
Your cameras already see it. Vantage makes it useful.
VSG Vantage brings the AI features people expect from consumer cameras — who’s there, what they’re doing, and alerts that matter — to commercial systems of 30 or more cameras that were never built with them. Your existing recorder stays, and the original recordings stay with it. VSG Node X1, on site, analyzes the streams you select. You choose where data lives: on the node, hybrid, or in the cloud. Testing covered every part of the product, with security as the focus. Access is selective.
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps. Your cameras stay.
01 / REVIEW
Compatibility review
VSG looks at your recorder, cameras, and network to confirm which streams Vantage can use. Not every system qualifies, and we will tell you plainly.
02 / NODE
VSG Node X1 on site
VSG Node X1 connects to the selected streams. Your cameras, recorder, and original recordings stay exactly where they are.
03 / INBOX
One activity inbox
People detected, what they’re doing, and alerts worth reading, gathered in a simple inbox with the context your team needs.
WHAT VANTAGE ADDS
The intelligence your recorder never had.
Testing covered every aspect of Vantage, with security as the focus. It is live with a restricted group of first clients, who remain unnamed. Each deployment is configured to the site and the client’s policies. Access is selective, and the number of accounts stays limited.
01 / PEOPLE
Person detection
Know when someone is on site and where, across 30 or more cameras.
02 / ACTIVITY
What they’re doing
Plain-language descriptions of activity, so an alert explains itself.
03 / ALERTS
Smart notifications
Graded alerts that separate what matters from routine motion.
04 / PLATES
License plate recognition
Not included by default. Available per client, with approval and the legal documentation that applies.
05 / FACES
Facial recognition
Not included by default. Available per client, with approval and the legal documentation that applies.
06 / STORAGE
Your storage choice
Keep data on VSG Node X1, run hybrid, or store primarily in the cloud.
WHAT STAYS THE SAME
Built to add, not replace.
Vantage is not a replacement recorder, a camera-reseller program, or a promise that every system is compatible. License plate recognition and facial recognition do not come by default. Both are available per client, with approval and the legal documentation that applies. Nothing runs unrestricted. Vantage does not take autonomous emergency action. It is live with a restricted group of first clients, who remain unnamed. Access is selective, the number of accounts stays limited, and the next step is a compatibility review, not a self-serve signup.
COMMON QUESTIONS
What the review covers.
Short answers about fit, storage, and identity features. A capability is confirmed only after the compatibility review.
01 / SYSTEM
Does Vantage replace our recorder?
No. Your cameras, recorder, and original recordings stay where they are. Vantage connects only to the streams the review confirms.
02 / FIT
What if our system does not qualify?
VSG says so plainly. Not every recorder or network is a fit, and VSG declines work that does not fit.
03 / STORAGE
Where does the data live?
That is your choice: on VSG Node X1, a hybrid setup, or primarily in the cloud.
04 / IDENTITY
When are plates or faces used?
Neither plates nor faces come by default. Both are offered per client, and only with approval and the legal documentation that applies.
05 / RESULT
What do we get back?
A direct answer on which streams Vantage can use, what stays in place, and whether the system qualifies.
06 / START
How do we begin?
Request a Vantage compatibility review. Vantage is live with a restricted group of first clients. The number of accounts stays limited, and there is no self-serve signup.
HOW VANTAGE FITS
Vantage sees. Nexus OS remembers. People decide.
Vantage stands on its own: it watches the cameras you already own and flags what matters. With VSG Nexus OS on the same VSG node, every flagged event joins your site’s operating record beside its procedures, incidents, and decisions. Either way, a person reviews what matters and makes the call. Nexus OS comes with a Managed CSO account, and those accounts are by invitation.
